Technical Service Warranty and Terms

All quotations and invoices at MacWave clearly declare the warranty for each Service inventory

MacWave offers a comprehensive one year warranty on all our technical repairs on Apple Mac devices with the exception of water damaged device repairs and Graphics related repairs (6 Months descending to 0 warranty depending on the condition of the device. Such warranty is displayed on invoice with the advice or report from the technician).

The client must inspect the item before he/she leaves the store to make sure that all is in order and there shall be no claims of physical damage whatsoever after that. For clients that receive the device through couriers, the device must be inspected immediately on arrival before signing the courier document (received in good order) and all visible physical damage reports should be filed within 24 hours after the device arrival to the client.

 A 50% discount on the total cost of repair is rewarded to our returning clients with out-warranty repairs provided the device is still in a repairable condition with the exact repair job description previously dealt with (repaired) at MacWave. And a 10% discount is rewarded to all returning clients with new repair job card descriptions. All parts purchased in the process of repair attract a 20% discount.

It will be important to note that MacWave boasts a less than 5% return rate on all repairs since the introduction of the Technical Service Excellence programme in 2015.
In case of such returns, a new job card will be issued with the records of the original job card and there will be no charge for the service at all except for parts if may be required.

In 2018, MacWave introduced a life-time technical support priviledge for all Mac users nationally. The support includes front desk,electronic (Email,web-chat or telephonically. Existing clients have more priviledges, all future diagnostics are completely free and that also includes simple installations and alterations that can be managed infront of the customer at front desk. It is this simplicity and all-round support offered that makes us a team with our clients. Our services have no RED-TAPE, some are performed there and then and those that can take time are only allocated a maximum of 24 hours.

NB: It is important to note that our service warranty and free support does not include free shipping.
